Free CPD Seminar: The Financial Tsunami and its Aftermath: Issues for Professional Accountants; plus LegCo Work Report

About the seminar
Among the numerous issues that emerged last year, financial tsunami was the one sending the biggest shockwaves all over the world and its effects are still affecting everyone. We cannot help but wonder what road will the economy take in the post-tsunami era and how the regulation of the financial services industry will change. We are also concerned about the future of the accounting profession in face of challenges brought about by the economy and competition from the north.
To cater for fellow members in the commercial sector and to solicit their views and observations as to the way forward, I will conduct two FREE CPD seminars on the same topic, one in Kowloon and the other in Hong Kong to suit your convenience. I will also take this opportunity to report to you my work at LegCo in the past year and my plan for the coming year. Please find the time to come !
