Insolvency has a broader meaning than the undesired and unpleasant failure arising from bankruptcy and liquidation. The direct association of insolvency with bankruptcy and liquidation could lead to a restricted understanding of the hints emerged from the insolvency indicators. In addition to a brief on the current statutes relating to bankruptcy and liquidation, this seminar also looks beyond the legal boundary into the socio-economic and business management perspectives. CPAs should not treat insolvency as a remote and static subject, but a dynamic and interactive chapter at all times.
